Figured I'd flesh out some lore about how the race is being spectated: 
 
[color=aba000]The entire event is being observed remotely through scores upon scores of Oglies (Singular Ogly) nasty, gnatsy little things absolutely manic for voyeurism. Resembling nothing so much as flying, mirrored polyps with a single eyelike aperture they're keen to bumble from one vantage point to the next, harrying the competitors and liberally spattering themselves across windshields. 
 
 The images they capture are broadcast--Emphasis being on the word [u]cast[/u]--by way of Droads, a circle of mages that practice droadism. While the process (they assure) is prohibitively complex it looks an awful lot like smacking a brass box with hammers to the lay observer.  
 
Next the sights and sounds they've been sending out are received and interpreted via Simulacreation sets: arcane devices where lumps of living clay are subjugated and compelled to act out Droadcasts. Essentially these are spherical glass enclosures with a flat base for stability, available in sizes ranging from as small as snow globes to cinema scale stage pieces. How skillfully they mimic scheduled Droadcasting is usually determined by intelligence and magnitude, with smaller, cheaper sets often 'forgetting' small details like which finger a ring was supposed to be on from scene to scene. Comically all but the best display audio with a quality best described as: Your mother reading bedtime stories in a silly voice. Alternatively known as SCs, Crums, and Idiot Balls they're not without their quirks, getting bad moods instead of bad reception. (Just like TVs though, banging on them hard enough seems to work.) 
 
If you want anything like security cameras or communication displays on your vehicles I'm fine with just saying, (as sorceracers) you can psuedodroad with minimal effort.
