PRIMARY ARMAMENT: The Three Mountains is armed with three heavy Wave Motion Cannon batteries. Each battery has three individual cannons which charge up shots in the turret before having the barrels guide and focus the beam to the point where it can punch straight through weaker shield systems. The other weapon systems on board are the mass acceleration canons (glorified railgun same in all aspects except name) mounted towards the front of the ship. The railguns fire a 2 tonne ferric-tungsten round with a depleted uranium core at 3.52 km a second. The Three Mountain's common tactic is to use the WMC cannons to disable shields before opening up with the MAC guns. SECONDARY ARMAMENT Supplementing the anti-ship weaponry on board, the Three Mountains also comes equipped with torpedoes and a missile array. There are 6 launching tubes at the front of the ship, able to use "Lancer" anti-armor rounds and high explosive "Blossom" photon rounds. Missiles are fired from a 16 array missile bay, 6 on each side and 4 on the top. Missiles include high explosive nuclear rounds, EMP rounds and anti-ship fragmentation "Breacher" rounds. The difference between the torpedoes and the missiles is that torpedoes are unguided while missiles are. There is a notable lack of anti-fighter weapons on the Three Mountains, on board defense total at a pitiful 12 with 6 55mm autocannons and 6 3GW lasers. Advised to deploy it with fighter escort or anti-fighter ship. ARMOR/SHIELDING: The Three Mountains has a two layered armor system consisting of 17 meters of solid alloy with a layer of carbon nanotube with spider silk mesh over it. Important areas may have up to another additional 4 meters of armor such as the bridge, engine bays and ammunition storage. COUNTERMEASURES: Lacking traditional energy shields, the Three Mountains uses a heat dispersal unit and counter-EMP equipment. As such homing missiles have a harder time finding where the ship is and the ship cannot be shut down through outside means. In the event of a boarding action, the Three Mountains has internal point-defense turrets to defend against invaders supplimented by blast doors in the corridors which can lock down at a moment's notice. ENGINES The ship has one large plasma thruster for propulsion with other large, high efficiency RCS thrusters providing more maneuvering and thrust, making the ship able to do more precise movements compared to siml=ilar ships at the cost at not being able to go as fast as other ships of its class. It come with a FTL drive, albeit an older prototype that's a bit finicky. No amount of calculations seems to let it go exactly where its supposed to with its end point deviating from a few kilometers to the other side of a planet. Its been affectionately dubbed the "Derp Drive" or "FTDerp Drive" REACTORS The Three Mountains has a NRS-6 cold fusion reactor serving as the main power source for on board things like engines, life support and computers. Weapons systems use four less advanced RS-3.3 nuclear reactor for power. Backup generators are modified KSV-1 fusion reactors supplemented by extendable solar panels and high capacity batteries which can power the ship for roughly a week assuming its not fighting. CREW 6211 crew members 98 pilots with 20 in reserve 32nd Guard Infantry Platoon 33rd Guard Infantry Platoon 108th Royal Armor Battalion COMPUTER SYSTEMS The Three Mountains uses three central computers that manage weapons, logistics and crew members. Assisting the computers is the on board AI, Oichi, who does fine tuning for most operations. FIGHTER AND BOMBER COMPLEMENT: 36 one man Zho-4 Kankori superiority fighters, 14 two man Kai-6 Nanatari interceptors, 20 one man Jun-11s Marung bombers, 24 Jun-14t Heavy Transports.
