[b]*Personality:[/b] At the base, Raiden comes off as a cold, emotionally distant, and rather sharp-witted man that is loyal to those close to him, and those that he feels the need to protect. Incredibly lethal and analytical, he does not hesitate in battle, and attacks with a cold efficiency that has slain many enemies in the past. Despite this, he is a firm believer in katsujinken ("sword that gives life") and issatsu tasho ("one life to save a thousand") philosophies originating in Japanese Buddhism, which justify the taking of lives in order to protect society, preserve justice, and defend the weak. Because of his life as a child soldier, Raiden believes in protecting the innocent, and it goes to the point where he will kill another innocent man if it saves more than one other life. Deeper down, though, he does have a dark side. He has an alternate personality, called "Jack the Ripper" who surfaces during ripper mode, a hightened combat form Raiden enters by deactivating his pain inhibitors. This personalty is orders of magnitude more agressive and violent, and takes far more pleasure in killing. Raiden, outide of his Ripper persona, while cold and apathetic, has a dry, sarcastic side that comes out whenever stupidity is innocuous, or his annoyance level is high, but not high enough to the point where he has to become violent. He possesses mental unstability, although he will deny it. It stems mainly from his past.

[b]*Powers/Skills:[/b] 
[i]Mental/Weaponry Training -[/i] Due to his harsh childhood, training from Solidus and the Army's virtual training, his mental state and capacity is well suited to combat operations behind enemy lines. He is calm under pressure, adaptive, and somewhat critical. This training and conditioning also put penalties on some of his social capabilities and mental stability. He is adept with a variety of weapons, from small arms to surface-to-air missiles. His training with Solidus also stems to melee and h2h combat, specifically bladed weaponry, and he has long since become a master of close-quartered combat, utilizing his blade with supreme efficiency, and utilizing different lightning-fast kicks and punches to attack foes. He also was skilled at being attuned with nature, also known as scouting, and has an easy time with animals.

[i]Cyborg Physicality -[/i] After becoming a cyborg, Raiden possessed incredible superhuman strength, speed, and endurance. His strength enabled him to lift a tremendous amount of weight, evidently ranging to several thousand tons. His speed is immense, allowing him to outrun/chase even advanced military vehicles, and scale walls without falling or hesitating. His durability is also immense due to his cybernetic frame, as his body is mainly made of steel and artificial muscle fibers. This has the side-effect of him having to resort to self-mutilation to get the job done, at times.

His eye occasionally turns crimson when analyzing foes, or when he's about to undergo a deadly maneuver, a side effect of his eye being modified with an optical implant.

[i]Lightning Generation -[/i] Raiden possesses a curious control over electricity/lightning, as his artificial body has made him into a prime conductor of such forces. Due to this, he can coat his limbs in electricity, to supremely increase the lethality of his attacks. This is seen even more by surrounding his blade in lightning, increasing it's already immense cutting power and destructive capabilities.

[i]Zandatsu -[/i] Raiden has the ability to heavily slow down his perception of time, allowing him to slice an enemy in a blurred, precise, and inhumanly accurate frenzy. When Zandatsu is activated, Raiden sees the world in a slowed-down perception, while onlookers only sees a blur of his blade.

[b]*Brief Bio:[/b] Raiden was born on a rainy day in Liberia, during a Civil War that plagued the country. He was adopted by Solidus Snake, who became his godfather after he killed the former's parents. Jack was subsequently raised as a child soldier and later fought in the country's Civil War in 1989. Thus, his story began, a tale of drama, action, heartache, and destruction. He was one of the greatest soldiers ever seen, and later on, became an actual [url=https://i.gyazo.com/e8500ed64634e6fef4ee532cb64dc38c.png]cyborg ninja[/url]. He was 'abducted' here during a rather intense battle in the midst of an army of enemy cyborgs, and is understandably antsy and cautious.

[b]*Equipment:[/b]
[i]HF [High Frequency] Blade[/i] - A specialized high-frequency blade, Raiden's weapon is a sword reinforced by a powerful alternating current and resonates at extremely high frequencies. This oscillation weakens the molecular bonds of anything it cuts, thereby increasing its cutting ability. Striking, cutting, and thrusting attacks are performed with the blade, with the sharpened edge and point used for lethal attacks, and the blunt edge used as a clubbing weapon. It is kept in Raiden's usual sheathe, on his back. See above image for picture.

He also possesses energy cells within a hidden compartment in his blade's mechanical sheathe, uses to restore his health when heavily damaged.
