In this roleplay the players find themselves in a middle of a government scheme to turn the city into a dystopia under their full control. It all started with a man made virus they created in order to force people to take a strange injection. This injection implanted cybernetics underneath their skin that made them susceptible to suggestion. They managed to control 75 people, and turned them into three separate squads of "peacekeepers". These peacekeepers are soldiers programmed to keep the city under maintenance, while also working as the police and S.W.A.T force. But, in the midst, there are rebels. These rebels are immune to the virus and the injection, cybernetic enhancements granting them their immunity and abnormal powers, strength and agility. They run along the rooves of Opulence, the city in which they live and thrive. This has caused the installation of rooftop turrets, and new peacekeeper "recruits" patrolling the rooves. But the rebels find their own way, installing special tunnels and corridors between buildings. The government is struggling to keep up now, but their masterplan is bubbling up and being put into motion. Now the rebels must try to put a spanner in the works. Wait - there's more. Who said this was just about the rebels? What about everyone in the slums? The twisted government members? The brainwashed peacekeepers? The families of those peacekeepers? What path will they take? Do the families join the rebels or the government? Do the slum residents stay in the shadows or make their voices heard? Does the whole city become Bʀᴀɪɴᴡᴀsʜᴇᴅ? The choice is up to you.
