Skill:  Ioetta is skilled in the martial art of swordsmenship. She combines her speed with her own physical strength, making her a formidable fighter. Ioetta, however, is weak in techniques and prefers to use power in all her attacks. Her training as a knight has granted her excellent horse riding skills, along with her talent in handling or training animals.  Ioetta is quite physically fit, possessing good stamina and constitution.

Location: Sheathed at her left hip. The hilt of the Knecht is constructed with two grip-slabs that are secured with tubular rivets. The pommel cap shows a “fuller” or hollow-grind that continues the length of the grip to the guard. Secured by a rivet through the guard is a lug on the outside of the hilt that protects the knuckles of the hand. This is an important feature as the blade is used in binding and winding techniques that otherwise easily might result in damage of the forward hand.

Background:

Lady Ioetta Vetcel was Baroness to the province of The Cerulean Lakes during the time of the Kingdom of Hosredor. She was a close friend to the king, counting herself among his childhood friends. A adept commander, she served excellently in the King's Army. It was said she turned down many offers to claim the social ladder and become Viscountess of the Southern territories. She however turned them down, preferring to instead dedicate her time and effort on her home town at Cerulean Lake.     

She is among the few higher ranking members of the nobility to survive the Orc horde invasion. Playing a crucial role in holding the rear guard during the final retreat. The King died in the last battle against the greenskins and Ioetta has blamed herself for it ever since. Choosing to bear the scar of it as her greatest failure; it was in that same battle she lost her right eye, thus it acts as a reminder to her constantly. She joined the Silver Shields not long after its formation. Believing wholeheartedly that they will one day give birth to the Kingdom of Hosredor once more. 

She is among the companies most talented commanders and still possess great skill on the battlefield.
