Adam has never known who his parents are, or were. All he’s known, is too things. He’s immortal, and he has evil inside of him that must be contained. 

Adam has been in love twice. One with a man whose name was Taylor. But he found that it did not work out when he accidently killed him in his sleep because of his alter-ego taking over. Once he found a way to control Will that would work for awhile, he fell in love with another man named Sean. But he outlived Sean, and so he dislikes the idea of love. 

He feels like he is the only immortal being in the world (even though he’s not) and feels like only he knows the pain of being alone forever.
