Name: Ryomi Fiett Leitania Age: Chronologically 23, Physically 20 (this age won't change) Gender: Female Race: Human's spirit in another human's body turned into a vessel (...just read the sheet) Appearance: She has what appears to be a standard female body to normal people, at last under normal circumstances. She has very long maroon hair that's often kept straight, although it does tend to curl upwards near the tips. Her eyelids are pointed but not very narrow, usually having open, youthful looking eyes with maroon colored irises. She commonly wears a casual black dress when not in armor. Personality: She's a kindhearted, innocent young woman. She doesn't like taking things too seriously unless the situation demands it. That being said she can be seen as slightly goofy and socially awkward at times and someone to be taken advantage of. However, she's actually more intelligent then people catch on and stands up for both herself and others. She's usually polite, even to enemies, so when she isn't then you know she's gotten into her serious mode. Abilities Physical Abilities- Her physical abilities vary depending on how much spirit power she's able to unleash. Relying only on the power of her vessel she's still easily on par with the best of humans in almost every category, her most impressive trait being mobility. She can fight at maximum spirit output for 5 minutes, being seen only as a flash by normal humans and knocking around buildings. She could level a major city if she wanted. She always has inhuman reaction-time. Her defense is always simply that of a tough girl, but there are other ways to defend herself them her physical body. Spirit Knowledge- She's been training to fight and know about spirits for a couple of years now. Navigation- This is actually an "anti-ability" of hers. She's known to be very poor at finding her way, getting lost easily if she doesn't know the area well. Sword Fighting- The only weapon she trains in is large swords. She's decent but would not stand up to a sword fighting champion unless she can simply overwhelm them with rapid, powerful attacks, which is her preferred fighting style when using the sword. Speed eating- She can eat surprisingly fast and is not picky at all. Poison Resistance- She is not harmed by most types of poison unless it's specifically designed to harm spirits and vessels. Powers All powers listed can only be used in her vessel form unless otherwise stated. Whenever her powers are active then her entire body will radiate a faint light blue hue, her eyes especially, and her hair will rise up and flow like being underwater. Activating her powers is called spirit output, and the more spirit output she has the more powerful she becomes but the more exhausting it is on her spirit energy. Spirit form- Ryomi can exit her body, turning into a glowing light blue ball with glowing maroon eyes and a tuft of glowing maroon "hair" coming out of the top. This form cannot interact with any physical objects outside of vessels, instead passing through everything unless the object is specifically designed to interact with spirits or is magical in nature. She can float around at speeds up to 40 miles an hour and never gets tired or needs things bodies would such as food, sleep, or oxygen. Her spirit can be destroyed through very powerful magical attacks. Vessel form- The only vessel she commonly uses is the one in her appearance, her older sister's (explained more in the bio). However, it should be noted that anyone can be made into a vessel that she can enter as long as their spirit is no longer in their body or her spirit is more powerful, forcing it away. The same can be said against her should an enemy spirit attack her vessel to struggle for control. The vessel is no longer alive, but should a spirit inhabit it then it will not decay and can basically do everything an alive person can do as long as the body isn't too damaged in the nerves, skeletal, or muscular system. The only organs they need is their heart (the dwelling place for the spirit) and brain (needed for the body's functions). Should any of these components be fixed then the spirit can return to the vessel. If not then the spirit will lose at least some measure of control, such as if an arm is cut off, or be ejected from the vessel entirely, should the heart be destroyed. It's important to note that the vessel still needs to eat, sleep, breath, etc, but in lesser amounts because not as much is active and the spirit can also provide energy to some extent. Floatation- She appears unaffected by gravity. Floatation does need her powers activated but it comes really natural to her, using minimal energy unless she wishes to travel at really high speeds, her max she can safely reach is mach 2 but she has little maneuverability at that point and requires 10 seconds of acceleration. Spirit Waves- She can send out attacks made out of spirit energy waves. Her energy glows light blue with maroon streaks. It can be in many forms, from beams to balls to weapons to shields to streaks of energy that follows her sword slashes. She has trouble controlling her energy once it's shot out, although does have some homing ability if she concentrates on it. Spirit waves can interact with anything physical, magical, and spiritual. Hers can become powerful enough to destroy a small village at maximum output...in a single attack. Spirit Shield- An energy shield automatically forms around her body when she increases her spirit output, becoming stronger and stronger the more she powers up. It deflects almost any attacks, including missile strikes, up to a point until it shatters from too much damage too quickly. A heavy bombing run of around 5 seconds would take her out given direct hits. Getting up close and personal before attacking can bypass her shield, which surrounds her at a distance of 1 foot. This is the most obvious exploitable weakness without simply overpowering it. It takes her about a day to completely recharge her spirit shield. Spirit Meld- She and her sister can unite their spirits as one, multiplying all spirit powers by two and giving her the expert combat experience of her older sister. However, melding in such a way is very difficult and can only last for 3 minutes max, but should improve with practice both in the power multiplication and the time it lasts. Mind Switch- Her sister can assume direct control, not doubling the spirit powers by still giving her the increased fighting experience. This can last up to 20 minutes right now, but should improve with practice. Weaknesses *Her spirit can be more easily removed from her vessel then a normal human's soul. *She might not finish off her opponent due to her personality, allowing them to counterattack. *She has to keep up her spirit energy to high levels during battle with dangerous opponents, constantly draining her the entire time. *If she gets attacked before activating her spirit output then she's pretty much doomed if the attack is more dangerous then what a "normal" human could handle. Equipment Armor: Blue battle armor that covers her entire body, head (besides the face), hands, and feet. It was forged while being infused with spirit energy, so although it's base material is steel, it's actually far tougher (by 8 times) and can even resist magical damage as well by the same degree that it would resist physical damage. There's a transparent light tan mesh cape on her back that serves no purpose in battle other then style, but can be easily removed if it gets in the way. Weapons: A large steel sword that looks sort of like a meat cleaver. She can cover it with her spirit energy to increase it's power and durability to a much high level, cutting cleanly through steel. Bio Her older sister was part of a top secret organization known as the Welington Institute, but her cover was blown without her knowledge. A small, elite team of terrorists set up an ambush, shooting an RPG that took out the car she and her family were traveling in. It wasn't a direct hit due to her managing to deflect some of the explosion, but she couldn't save everyone in time. In fact it was only her body that was spared from almost complete obliteration, although she was still dying. She blamed herself entirely for this tragedy, so wouldn't allow them all to have to pay for her mistake. One of the mysterious beings from the Welington Institute was going to restore her body to become a vessel for her own spirit to occupy, thus allowing her to continue working for them, but she instead grasped onto Ryomi's spirit before she had vanished from the world and placed her into her vessel instead, allowing her to live in her place. The organization wasn't pleased in the slightest with loosing one of their top agents, trying to limit their loss by seeing if they could train Ryomi to make use of her sister's power now that she had her body. Ryomi took the situation hard at first, as you can imagine, and was non-cooperative. Instead of joining she iwent out to live on the streets, moping by herself for some time until she realized what her sister was fighting for; saving the world from spirits who had their sights set on possessing all of the world leaders, thus gaining complete control from the hands of the "incompetent, power hungry humans". The spirits claim it will cause world peace if only they are in charge, but even if they believe that to be true, what the spirits think is the right thing to do once they are calling all of the shots doesn't mean it's right for humanity. Ryomi was attacked by a spirit who wanted to possess her sister's body from her, so that was the last straw. Ryomi obliterated the spirit, and wanting to honor her sister's memory and body, she wouldn't use it to mope around all day. She instead joined the Institute to try and make a difference in the world using her newfound powers. She has been training for five years now, helping save the world on numerous occasions with other like minded individuals. Although she's not the most powerful by any means and has suffered many defeats, she's always managed to pull through when the going gets tough, mostly thanks to how well of a vessel she inhabits, her sister being a true prodigy of the Welington Institute while still alive. To her surprise, on one mission she noticed her sister speaking to her more and more frequently, then realized that she had managed to also enter her vessel, but only in a trance-like state deep down in her consciousness rather then the heart where the spirit normally lies. Her sister was lost in the darkness for a long time, but slowly has managed to reawaken her spirit to do some communication, but even talking for a short time is exhausting for her in her current state. Therefore, she only does so under dire circumstances. As she got more and more of her strength back she was even able to assume direct control of her vessel, or even shared control, for brief moments to greatly enhance her combat abilities if they can mange to fight as one.
