Power: Atlas has the power to produce tendrils from the palms of his hands that can extend out to 50 feet at max and be controlled at will. They have a strange, smoke like appearance, but are in fact completely solid. He can wrap them around things and use them as a form of grappling hook to reach higher ground, or to swing down. He can also use them as a weapon, using them as  a whip, or to wrap around people. The tendrils have great strength to them and if he can wrap them around someone he could easily swing them over head and throw them quite far.

Coates or Townie: Coates

Personality: The closest thing to a nice description of Atlas is a disturbed individual. A more blunt description would be a sociopath. He takes great pleasure in hurting people, and asserting his dominance. He also has a strange need for control, a desire to be in charge, to assert himself as above the other people around him.

Brief History: Atlas was born in Long Island New York to affluent parents. Although he had a happy family life, he always struggled to make friends and his early school years were hell. When it came time to move to middle school he was sent to an expensive private boarding school in hopes he would make friends better there. He didn’t. He got a reputation as the weird kid and was bullied mercilessly. Until one day, at the age of 13, he had had enough, and at the end of lunch managed to hide away a fork under his clothes. As one of his tormentors approached him in a hallway, he lunged towards the much larger boy, pulling out the fork and stabbing the kid straight in the eye. The kid was blinded in his left eye for life, and Atlas was moved to a new school better suited for kids like him: Coates Academy in San Perdido.
