When she first had come to the coven she was an emotionally closed off heartless wreak, that only seemed to feel anger. The only reason she had went with the vampires in the first place was to get away from her own family. After her mother’s death and finding out that she was balanced she knew that she had to leave, she planned to just stay a week until she had a chance to run away. Maybe that was the reason that they made her stay in the castle. Though her plans had changed once she met the other witch Ophelia. Who was probably the only person who was ever actually honest to her. Though her bodyguard was annoying and tended to piss her off a little. "So Ophelia, is that guy that forwards you around the only bodyguard around here? No, offence but he is kind of annoying as hell." She asked the first time that he went outside of her room to talk to the elder vampire Checkov. Kathleen stretched in her extra comfy large bed under the covers and still warm. The sun shining through her south facing windows woke her enough for the smell of pancakes to finish the job. Her pale blue eyes stared up at the ceiling as she thought about her first few weeks here. Kathleen smiled to herself at the memory, as she looked out of her bedroom window which faced their beautiful garden. She never would have guessed when she first came here, that she would be here four years later. Or that the old magic and balance of her soul would turn her into the emotional roller coaster she was now. However, for the most part she was rather happy anymore or at least happier than she had been when around her family. She ran a brush through her straight dark blonde locks of hair, though she didn't even bother changing out of her pink and white plaid pajama pants or the red long sleeved half way buttoned up shirt. The sound of Mitch chattering along traveled up the stairs, and it made her smile a little bit bigger. Finding him more like an annoy older brother now, but every time he opened his mouth, it made her a little bit happier that Atticus was her guard. Leaning against the kitchen door frame, she listened to him talking to himself a little amused. "You know Mitch the more you sit there talking to yourself, the more people question your sanity, just a warning." Kathleen said making her way into the kitchen, grabbing glass out of the cupboard and the orange juice out of the fridge. Mitchell laughed softly behind her. "Good morning. You seem like you're in a good mood this morning, Kathleen." Kathleen nodded pouring the juice into her glass. "Morning Mitchell and I am in a good mood. I’m excited to be practicing outside in the garden today instead of in the castle.” She said smiling brightly before going over to the counter where Lia was making plates taking two of them from the counter with a smile. “Morning, Lia.” She greeted cheerfully before turning and putting one of the plates in front of Mitchell and the other one where Atticus usually sat. Seeing the empty chair made her frown slightly as she looked up at Mitchell, she had grown rather used to him being at the table talking to Mitchell when she got up, it was weird for him not to be there for her. “Where’s Atty?” Mitchell looked at her, giving a weird look before he pointed out to the back porch. ”I think he’s out watching the sunrise.” He answered watching her look as she headed towards the porch. Kat gave a smile as she opened the door and saw Atticus sitting on the porch, she walked over behind him with a laugh as her hand went up to play with his hair. "Good morning Atty! Why are you hiding out here?" She asked before sitting in the other chair on the porch with her orange juice. -- Mitchell let out a groan as the alarm went off in his room his hand roughly going up and hitting the button almost knocking the clock off the table. He just laid there in bed spread out facing the ceiling with his dark brown eyes still closed for a few moments waiting for the second alarm that he only set on Mondays, something that he started when he first started watching Lia and she started keeping him up on Mondays. He hadn't gotten to the dresser to turn the second alarm off yet before Atticus was knocking on his door. "Yeah, I'll be out in a moment." He yelled as he hit the power button on the second clock and started getting ready. Grabbing pants and a random shirt and slipping them on before moving the stack of books from library off of his jacket. Though they were for personal reading and not for helping Lia, he just never had the chance to go to the library without being stuck there helping Lia. Mitchell slipped his shoes on quickly, his one arm still out of his jacket as he opened the door and walked out into the hallway. "Hey man." Mitchell said slipping his other arm in the jacket and locking the door to his room. He nodded a little letting out a yawn of his own. "Yeah, I think I almost fell asleep on her last night, I barely remember getting to my room." Mitch said as they started heading out of the tower towards the cottage. "It wouldn't be so bad if reading about witchcraft wasn't so boring and quiet. I can only make noise so much before I annoy myself." He said with a bit of a laugh. As they got outside he was happy that he remembered his jacket. Especially seeing how they would be working outside today. Mitchell was starting to miss the beginning of fall, when the leafs were starting to fall but it was still warm and less likely to rain. "Smells like Lia’s up already." Mitchell said the smell of sausage and coffee as they approached the cottage, made him smile a little. It wasn't every day that Lia was up and making breakfast for everyone, but she was a great cook, and he enjoyed it when she did. He looked at Atticus when he spoke and nodded a little bit. “I know that will be a nice change, even if it’s cold.” He answered before following Atticus inside though he took a sit in front of his coffee at the table, watching Att going up to check on Kat. That was the reason that he had gave his recommendation for Att to be Kat’s guard, before even the first of training him Mitch knew that Atticus would be a good bodyguard. Atticus took the job of keeping the women safe just as seriously as Mitchell did, if there was any real training that he had needed it was the way to handle things with witches. Just like Mitchell had thought Atticus was doing a great job with watching Kathleen unsupervised. The humming coming from Lia brought Mitchell’s thoughts back to the witch standing at the corner cooking and making plates. It was a little strange maybe, but Mitchell kind of liked the way she hummed to herself when she was deep in thought, even if it did seem to make everyone else a little bit nervous and tense. If anything it was much more relaxing to him than how annoying quiet she was. He watched her sipping his coffee for a moment. “Good morning, Ophelia.” He said frowning a little has she simply just gave a wave, the same that she gave Atticus when he greeting her as well before going outside. Mitchell let out an annoyed sigh that he always did when she annoyed him. “Good morning Mitchell, how are you today?” He said mocking Lia’s tone a little looking down at his coffee as he spoke. “I’m good really enjoying the coffee and the fact you aren’t ignoring me completely again.” He answered in his plain voice again with a bit of a smirk watching her out of the corner of his eye, before hearing Kathleen finally come down into the kitchen. After Kat went outside to get Atticus, Mitchell looked over at Lia with a weird look on his face. "You know the more you work with Kathleen the weirder she gets. It that something that's normal? Or should I be worried about you?"
