He wears a flamethrower on his back, two red tanks of propane, connected via hose to the flamethrower, made of metal and with a lighter on the end to ignite the propane. On his belt he wears a hussar's saber, etched with his mother's name.

Background: Egbert's father, Gregory, was an heir to the Pitt Tractor Company fortune, however, he used his money to finance his actual career, vampire hunting. 5 generations of Pitts were vampire hunters, and their fortune only finances this career, however, Egbert was a bastard, his father not even knowing of his existence until he was on his deathbed, Gregory instructed his eldest son, James Pitt, to teach Egbert how to hunt vampires. Egbert was a natural, with several dead vampires to his name. However, James Pitt himself became a vampire after a hunt went wrong, and after Egbert returning from a successful hunt, attempted to kill him, mortally wounding him and leaving him for dead. When doctors found him, they decided that the only was to save Egbert was to give him Lycan blood. Due to the transplant, Egbert made a miraculous recovery, however, he was no longer the jolly man he once was, Egbert was deeply scarred psychologically by the betrayal, devoting his life to the death of James, however, with James in control of the Pitt fortune, Egbert was forced to go underground, after thirty years killing other vampires, Egbert returned to the surface world, more determined than ever to kill James Pitt, and he would go to any end in order to do it.
