Name: William "Captain" Hendrick Appearance: Standing tall at 6'1 with a very built figure, William has a well trimmed mustache, and keeps his dark brown hair short and neatly tucked under his hat. His face appears worn, almost as if it had aged faster than it should have. His tired looking eyes, which some mistook that as a sign that he's exhausted, are a pale green in color. He generally can be seen wearing his favorite hat and brown duster coat over his body. Age:36 (Technically 243) Creature:Human with a werewolf blood transfusion. Type of Hunter: Werewolf Hunter, member of the Night Hunter Organization. He carries the tools of the Nordic Hunters from times long ago which were given to him by the N.H.O. His primary tool for butchering twisted Lycans is his steel bearded axe, which has a collapsible shaft so that it may be wielded one handed or two handed. Upon his back is a round steel shield with extendable silver curved spikes. This shield is attached to a somewhat heavy device by a chain, which can be used to retract the shield after he throws it at his targets. On top of this, he has dual .44 revolvers, each loaded with silver bullets to remind him of his time as a bounty hunter in the wild west. How long have you been hunting: 208 Years. Background: The hunt has always been with him. You see for William, it was a family tradition. His father, and father's fathers were all hunters in his family, and he was expected to walk in their shoes. The shield he carries has protected him and all those before him. When his father handed it down to him, it was his time to head out into the world to continue the hunt. During the early 1800s however, the number of Lycan sightings increased drastically, as did the reports of other hunters falling victim to them. Fearing that midwestern regional hunting group would succumb to the tainted creatures, he left in search of an old hag, one that could implement a transfusion of werewolf blood into his veins. It was a risky move for many reasons, the most apparent being that it would cause his potential death. For a week, he suffered the effects of the blood, but eventually came through, and was able to return to his hunting group. With his newly acquired protection against the Lycans, he rallied what remained of the Midwestern hunters together to hunt down and pick off the mos largest Lycan packs. When word reached the high ranking members of the Night Hunters, William was scolded, but otherwise left alone by the Organization. It was highly likely that William would lose both his rank and his life for his foolish action, but the circumstances in the Americas meant they had little choice but to let him live. Eventually the fact that he transfused werewolf blood into his body became an ever apparent shadow, but was always discussed in whispers at the meeting grounds. Now he is seen as a traitor, rumored that the beast blood had finally tainted his soul. This rumor was also backed up by the fact that William had spared several afflicted individuals in the past. Many had heard that William dared to trust both beasts and vampires at his side, and the N.H.O. was forced to come to the decision that William had embraced the inner beast that had tainted his blood. William however cared little for what the Organization thought. He had already been a target or using Werewolf blood, so breaking another rule meant nothing to him. William was a stubborn man, and even though he had turned his back on his former organization, his intentions were still as true as the ones he went in with.
