Angelo sighed as he soon finished his homework and not long after he got an email from that kris guy. Of course he called Angelo rude dude which wasn't the worst thing he could be called but it wasn't meant to be flattering either as he read through the message telling him to read between the lines obviously since he was using school email which was stupid to begin with since they got attacked at school still he gets a c for effort Angelo thought.

Angelo sighed and started to message him back yeah dude, don't worry ill make sure to come in the right costume this time and don't hate because I misunderstood the invitation. Im ready to party about 2 hours after school ends if im not mistaken. Ill see you then man Angelo said needing to hit himself on his desk still thinking how he had to text so out of character for him. Hopefully kris would get what he was trying to say and not make fun of him the next day for it. Not like Angelo couldn't fake a friendly message to.

Kris got the reply, and was pleasantly surprised at his comprehension. He logged off his school email, and setting his LAN network temporarily through a proxy server, logged into his private email (which wasn't actually being spammed). He looked up his contact, known only to him as the Duel Avatar Ochre Technic, and sent the following message to the email also provided:

Aurrorian here,

New targets, Level 5 G and Level 1 P. Am compromised, not resorting to blackmail. Identities stay with me, partial payment for now.

Interesting development, know hacker who uses AI DAs? Target G requests info too, will provide email, your call. Reply ASAP.


Only a few minutes later, he received the reply:

Hello Aurrorian,

Not good enough, unfortunately. But the development interests me. I will take the email. Will let you both know what info I gather.

Kris turned off his Neuro Linker content with his preparations, just as Mother arrived home, and the rest of the night was spent until he hit the sack for tomorrow.

Lily wasted the time as the cookies were baking, the oven automatically going off thankfully as Lily dozed off, the small bundle of fur that was Moe curled almost protectively against her side, on the couch. She must have fallen into a deeper sleep, because the next thing she knew, light was spilling in from the kitchen window, and Moe was licking her face.

"alright! Alright, I'm up! Yeesh!" she ran a hand through her hair, the faint fading scent of cookies making her remember them "oh, God!" she ran to the oven, checking on the cookies relieved they were okay, biting into one as she put the others away.

well, I suppose I should get to work she mused. First thing was first. Find out what she could on Kristopher-whether he was just doing this to find out ids of students or if there was something more sinister behind it. She really didn't want there to be but....something just wasnt sitting quite right.

She sat down, and started a message to Kristopher. It didn't take long

hi, Kristopher, it's Lily.

Look, I really do need help with Maths. Things just got out of hand last night, with the forced battle and everything. I would appreciate some help, if you're willing, I can come to you whenever.

She red the message once, pleased with herself, before sending it.

Angelo groaned as he woke up to his alarm and he soon smashed the button saying stop. Angelo was old fashioned that way by keeping an old alarm clock with him so he would be forced to get up and turn it off. Once he was up he changed into his uniform but this time he took an extra bag with him having both a jacket with a hood that will cover up his face and a tazer just in case for this meeting today he was going to have with kris.
Angelo didn't trust him that much was obvious but he needed to learn to try and trust others. Once Angelo changed he went and made himself some cereal and went to see lily since he knew where she lived he waited outside her building for her making sure not to be wearing his neural gear so not to be forced into another fight and Angelo had hoped she would do the same so they could walk to school together...

Kris again woke up before his alarm, and once he turned it off spent a few more minutes just keeping his eyes shut and dozing. Yesterday was really tiresome for him, and he wasn't excited for today either. He finally sighed and muttered incoherently, before sitting up to get dressed.

This time no note awaited him at breakfast, and the rest of his morning was uneventful, until he finally put on his Neuro Linker as he headed out the door. Surprise, and then annoyance met him when he checked his unread email and found Lily's. He barely skimmed her message before shaking his head like he'd just caught a naughty kid, and considered just hitting the Spam button to be over with it. But then she'd probably be on his case even more if he did that, so with a groan he replied:

Wait, Lily? How'd you figure out my IRL identity from my account in Super Mario Bros Online? Jeez, you are one creepy gal. >_> JK, you probably looked at my Steam Cloud account, I suppose I made my profile too obvious. lol

Anyways, yeah sorry for getting carried away trying to speed run the Superstar Saga, sucks that the boss battle was a forced loss; what a way to spend a night, right? I'll make it up to you at school, I promise. But not today, I'm going to be partying it up after school with my home boys; too bad girls aren't invited. ;) Anyways, I'll see you at school or online again, if you need a quick chat with me! :)


He stifled a grin as he sauntered off to school.

Lily stared at the message, at the arrogance of it, deciding that her judgement of Kristopher was completely just. She was just about to log off, angry, when the words of the message sunk it. She frowned, was she reading too much into it or was he trying to write in some sort of code, given that they had been hacked? Was she giving him too much credit, for his smarts? Sighing, she logged off and got ready to go out, making sure Moe was fed, watered and could get outside if he needed to, before heading out

Angelo waited outside for his protégé and once she was finally out he made a quick motion meaning to follow as he walked and lead the way to school thankfully they wouldn't be late to class and once they were inside the schools area Angelo put his neural linker back on and proceeded to turn it on if you ever feel like your going to be put into another ambush take of your neural linker as quickly as possible. I need to do some investigating before he start to fight again Angelo warned her as he left and went to go to class..

Kris decided he was going to hand over the email address to Psycholangelo (HA I GOT IT) by the good ole fashion slip of paper. Of course, given this was liberal California, most schools had stopped buying paper supplies since the first Neuro Linkers were imported from Japan. Which meant he had to grab the next best thing from the cafeteria, napkins, and borrow a pen from the elderly librarian who still had an antique collection of them for temporary loan. Kris scribbled down the address (after numerous fails in tearing through the thin, waxy surface), and handed back the pen before arriving in class right as the bell rung.

Lily knew what to do, but appreciated that Angelo cared enough to warn her. She had her linker off, and in her bag for now, as she headed to first class. She was still trying to make sense of something's, and was a little bit ill at ease, but tried to go through her lesson normally, cursing at the added difficulty to her concentration in Maths. She was about ready to throw thedamn thing out the window

As before Angelo didn't change his behavior as he sat in the class having his feet up until the bell rang as he started to take notes during class and he couldn't help but try to find a way to make sure his meeting after school goes in his favor even if he may end up going into a trap. Angelo had to find a way to get this meeting to not end in him being ambushed and he couldn't help but try to figure out who was the one who was attacking him and his protégé attacking him was one thing but he hated people attacking his protégé when he was meant to protect her and make sure she ends up being a great burst linker someday...

As Kris took notes, he opened up a separate private messenger window for class, and texted, "Package en route." Before hitting the send button to its recipient, he waited for the teacher to finish the lecture and move onto classwork, before raising his hand to ask permission to use the restroom. Kris sent the text as he got up, nonchalantly walked by Psycholangelo's seat on his way to the door, and nearly tripped on the sulky kid's outstretched legs.

"Dude WTF, your legs don't decide your personal space," Kris spat at him, kicking his shins to make the point.

As the class went out, Lily aw Kris get up, and just about trip over Angelo's legs, before having a hissy fit, and kicking him. Annoyed at that, and at his behaviour in general, Lily said "Maybe you should watch where you are going, or maybe you shouldn't deliberately try to trip over just to abuse someone! AND technically, your legs do determine personal space as they are attached to you, and as far as I know, no one can detach them! So why don't you just stop being a jerk" She didn't like what was going on here, it was like Kristopher had gone out of his way to trip over Angelo, just for a confrontation.

I looked at lily and I made her see my eyes before I gave her a gentle gesture meaning "back down" to her making sure she understood before I stood up grabbing Kris's collar making him get close you try to start something again ill rip out your eyes and feed them to you. if you want to fuck with me then fine but do it properly so I don't have to deal with your bs during school Angelo told him putting his other hand next to his so he could deliver the "package" that he decided was worth causing a scene over

"Yeah, too bad I have something worthwhile to do after school, flunkie, so unless you're coming by for tutoring to get an education, you and your girlfriend can stop trying to bully me." Kris unwrapped Psycho's hand from around his collar, and lightly shoved him back into his seat, while one hand discreetly palmed the crumpled napkin to the receiving hand. Then Kris turned around to give a longing glance and ghost of a smile to Lily, before waving off the teacher and heading out the door. He sent a few more texts to Angelo through the messenger while counting to a minute, and after a brief walk reentered the classroom.

Angelo made sure to growl for effect when he left before he put the note into his pocket to read later. Right now Angelo was starting to think that kris watched way to many spy movies if this was how he decided to give him a message but to each his own. Angelo made sure to message back next time think of something better then to cause a scene for a delivery spy geek Angelo messaged back before he deleted the conversation.

Lily felt like she was missing something, and she hated that feeling. Even more annoyed, she simply stared at her work, not reading it. Just what the hell was going on here, and why didn't anyone trust her to tell her? That was what annoyed her the most! Grumbling To herself, she rubbed her eyes and leaned back, frustrated and wishing she could simply knock their heads together and demand information

Kris deleted the conversation after getting that last jab in, settling down in his seat again before resuming classwork. The bell eventually rang for lunch, and he lined up in the cafeteria; on Tuesdays he would be heading to debate club next.

Angelo sighed seeing that last message and he deleted it but not before he made sticky note of the book he talked about. Once he did he went back to work during class and he proceeded to work as he always did until it was time for lunch and like any other day Angelo went to the rooftop and once he felt that he was alone he read the note that he made seeing that he will have the time ready for when they head to off to see kris contact. he waited for lily to show up knowing she would most likely be pissed at the display that happened after their first class....

Lily proceeded to the roof top when it was lunch, deliberately making sure that no one, no one at all was following her. She was silent, annoyed still, and when she reached the roof, she stood, looking at Angelo and waiting, not speaking. She wanted answers, but suspected she wouldn't get them.

Angelo sighed seeing lily look at him with that face that said she wanted an explanation from him about what happened. "don't worry about it. im going to work with kris to see if we can find out what is going on and who is hacking us. just keep safe and don't do anything that might cause you to get into a fight again" Angelo told her hoping she would take the hint and just trust him on this. He wouldn't do anything that would give away who they were or put himself into danger he couldn't get out of.
