Samantha watched as her breath materialized and disappeared into the winter breeze. She always liked the cold. Of course, that doesn't mean she brought the heaviest clothes she could find. She liked the cold, but she didn't like freezing. There were footsteps on the path ahead, but only one pair. Probably James himself, it's only right for the host to arrive first. Samantha flicked on her flashlight as she walked down the foot-road to get to the cabin. It was a little weird, coming to this place again. She was never one for superstition, but it was almost as if she could sense a...strange aura emitting from somewhere in the woods, where the cabin would be. The moon was a giant eyeball in the sky. Samantha wished she had come with someone else, envying the couples not because of their love or anything, just because they automatically came with eachother. Samantha here was all alone. Why was this path so long? She picked up the pace and stepped right over a small key in the snow. The cabin entered her view, and she couldn't help but feel relieved. "Nice..." She said to herself. She glanced around for James with her flashlight, beam dancing along the wooden walls of the cabin. "You there?" She said loudly.
