Cold, everything is cold. Frozen..... chilled..... cold..... fragile, frozen, cold. Everything..... is.... ICE! Fenris thought as he sat in the middle of a small lake. It was completely frozen as he sat there, his legs crossed, eyes closed, fists pressed tightly against each other. "Fenris! Enough!" Yelled his teacher as she whacked him over the head. "Ouch! What was that for!" Fenris replies as winced and rubbed the spot on his head. Opening his eyes Fenris saw that the ice was starting to freeze the teacher too. "You have good control, but you're not fully learning how to guide your magic itself. You need to learn to control what gets frozen when you let it go. Until you do that you will never be able to advance in your classes. Now, as homework I want you to find a small pond. I want you to freeze it completely, but leave any fish or animals in the water untouched. Understood?" "Yes, Ma'am," Fenris replied before the teacher walked off the frozen lake. He sighed loudly as he stood up and rubbed the spot on his head again. He was in college now, he's been learning to use his magic for how long? But there was still so much more to learn, like how to combine his magic with his wolf form. He had to chose between the two, though when he was younger he could freeze things as a wolf without thinking about it. Now that he knew how to use his magic though, it's like it didn't happen anymore. Sure the air got colder around him as a wolf, but that was just a side effect. It wasn't Fenris doing anything on purpose. He sighed again before walking off the lake. Once he was at the shore he relaxed his hold on his magic and the lake returned to normal. "Why is this such a pain?" He asked himself before wandering off.
