well shortbows weren't really a thing, and if they were, they had a very low force per square inch (something like that) so they were really sucky for penetrating armor

it doesn't help that the lady archer is, well, a lady, meaning she must have had much more drawing power in her smaller frame, which is impossible. 


longbows would be bad for being quick and maneuverable

but since this is magic times it doesn't REALLY matter does it. just a regular female archer with a smaller but powerful bow, that can get around quite easily. doesn't sound so bad when you put it that way.
