Name: Aoi Kasakawa Universe: GOD EATER Canon or OC: OC Appearance:

Age: 20 Personality: Put kindly, she's "slow". Put unkindly, she's denser than osmium. However, she has a naive charm to her that, when paired with her positive attitude, make her a likable person. Abilities: Accelerated healing: Aoi recovers quickly from damage dealt by sources that aren't composed of Oracle Cells. (mechanics note) Devour: In combat, Aoi can eat a chunk of an enemy's flesh (through her God Arc's maw) to get a boost to her physical abilities. Out of combat, Aoi can and will eat just about anything for nutrition. Enhanced strength: God Arcs are heavy. It takes a lot to swing one, let alone jump ten feet holding one. Equipment: Aragami-fiber clothes: Self-repairing and super comfy. God Arc (New-Type): 3-in-1 weapon. Included are a 10-foot longsword, a 4-foot diameter buckler shield, and an 8-foot Oracle rifle. The shield acts as part of sword mode. *Devour Mode: While in melee mode, the God Arc can grow jaws around the blade and take a bite of the target for a physical boost. O-Ampules: Oracle Cell infusions that provide energy to Aragami-based life. Used to provide ammo when the God Arc gun is running low. Faction: Presently factionless. Background: Aoi is the (most) successful subject of Dr. Sakaki's most recent attempt to create a group of humanoid Aragami that will coexist with humanity. The experiment boils down to surgically embedding Aragami cores into children from a young age in the hopes of creating an Aragami with a human mind. She was raised as a human and has no idea that she's actually biologically an Aragami. Once she became old enough she was trained as a God Eater. Dr. Sakaki kept Aoi close to him for observation and would often monologue to her about whatever happened to cross his mind simply to gauge her reactions. During one such session, he stated, "If only there were a way to just take a stick, shove it in a box, think of a better place and, by moving the stick, be taken to that better place that had been imagined. If there was, we wouldn't be in this mess..." Aoi, not understanding that such a thing supposedly was impossible, tried it that night and found herself whisked away into the multiverse. Now she searches for a way back home and for something to bring home to provide hope to her colleagues.
