First, I'm not personally concerned at the fight moving on without me. Of all the characters in Roanapur, I think DIO is possibly the one I want Clementine to have the least to do with, particularly since no one followed the line of logic I'd been hoping for; that everyone who arrived in front of the Yellow Flag was powerful, dangerous and at least some level of immoral, and so this little blood covered girl was probably no exception. On that note, does DIO have some sort of aura-sense to gauge people's power levels, or is he just sniffing blood and going from there?
Name: Kl'rt Universe: Marvel 616 Appearance: Personality: Kl'rt is a proud warrior who has been humbled many times. Despite this, he still believes himself to be superior to any human. While he disdains most non-skrulls as lesser lifeforms, Kl'rt is not sadistic when unprovoked, and rarely kills outside of battle. He places great value in honor, both personal and familial. In times of crisis, he is not unwilling to align with worthy allies, even if he never loses his attitude. Kl'rt is also a capable leader. Powers/Skills: Skrull army training: As a member of the Skrull warrior caste, Kl'rt is trained in the use of Skrull technology and close quarters combat. Multiple decades in battle both as part of the Skrull army and as the Skrull hero Super-Skrull have given him great experience in battle, often against opponents with unknown abilities. Shape-shifting: Skrulls are able to alter their forms into that of anything they can imagine, be it organic or inorganic. It must, however, be solid. They can assume the form of someone but not their powers. When they imitate an inorganic object, they take on it's appearance, but not it's properties. They can also use their abilities to grow extra limbs. They have no apparent size limit, as they they been seen to assume the form of a common housefly, and shapes many times larger than their normal selves. Pyrokinesis: Kl'rt has the Human Torch's ability to create and control large amounts of fire, as well as converting some or all of his body into a fiery plasma, allowing both high speed flight and immolation for both offense and defense. He can also absorb a nigh-infinite amount of heat. Superhuman: Kl'rt possesses strength, stamina and durability comparable to that of The Thing, and well beyond the capabilities of any natural human or skrull, even those in peak condition. He can also cover parts of his body in a rock-like skin. Invisibility: Kl'rt is able to project the same psionic fields as the Invisible Woman, allowing him to turn invisible or place defensive or offensive force fields. Elasticity: Finally, Kl'rt has Mr. Fantastic's elasticity, able to stretch and contort his entire body to great lengths. Brief Bio: Years before he became the Super-Skrull, Kl'rt was a decorated soldier in the Skrull army. However, after a string of defeats Kl'rt was disgraced, shunned by his family and his people. After the Skrulls clashed with the Fantastic Four, Kl'rt was called upon for an experimental procedure to make his body receptive to the same cosmic energy which granted them their powers, and Kl'rt once again became a hero to his people before once again facing a number of defeats and over the course of the following years he found himself locked away inside a volcano, trapped in a mystical artifact, and twice atomized and dispersed in space. Much later, Kl'rt fought in several consecutive wars; against the Kree, against the Annihilation Wave, against Ultron's Phalanx, and against Thanos. In the midst of these conflicts, the Skrull empire was devastated, the throne world devoured by Galactus, and the Empress slain during a failed invasion of Earth. Most recently, in the aftermath of the war against Thanos, Kl'rt was crowned Emperor of the revived Skrull empire. Equipment: The clothes on his back. Others: Moral coding is a bit rough here. In the comics, Kl'rt has been coded as a villain up until about a decade ago purely because he has been in opposition to Earth and the Fantastic Four, but from the Skrull perspective he has always been a war hero and a super hero, even when disgraced. He certainly isn't evil, though he might have an attitude problem.
and Third, having gone over the collab post again, I don't think flow is really an issue; the big obvious benefit is fluid transition from attack to result and dialogue to response. The one paragraph that was longer than the rest could probably have used breaking in half, either before "Once she had attacked DIO long enough" or before "DIO, having lazily blocked..." just to give a breather to the reader, but that might just be me. I also think that in future collaborative posts, it might be beneficial for everyone to give their dialogue (and maybe thoughts) a personal text color, to make it stand out a bit more readily to anyone that's just skimming or easily distracted. I also don't think it would have really hurt your collab post to have broken the whole thing up into two or three posts over the course of a day or two, in case someone just really desperately felt their character would have participated or interrupted the fight; That's their choice, even if it isn't a very clever one to make. I don't think it's something that must be done though, particularly because that would make it that much harder to get anything done if anyone involved has time constraints. TL;DR, Collab post looks fine to me. Pro side: more fluid interaction between involved characters. Con side: It's a bit bigger of a meal than probably anyone is used to for this RP for right now. EDIT: For the idea that someone would have intervened in the first place, excluding the dialogue at the beginning and the recovery and dialogue after, the events of the post probably took 20 to 40 seconds. A combo from Juri, a counter and then combo from DIO, and then a counter from Juri before she passed out.
