Bio: Manuel lived in the slums of Luanda. A sea of huts was huddled together under sky-scrapers and mansions, all courtesy of the country's oil boom. The city drew the rich and the powerful sucking their wealth from black gold, and with strange men from distant lands came strange tastes. The underground ring was a popular hangout for anyone with the money to enjoy real blood sports. The poor of the city were kidnapped from the street and thrown in the pit in a fight to the death, for the entertainment of the obscenely rich.

Manuel was unfortunate enough to have been kidnapped as a teenager and forced to fight in the blood sport. He was abandoned by his mother at an early age and lived off begging and trash until he found he had a gift - a power so magnificent he soon became the only attraction in the underground ring of Luanda. He was constantly pitted against savage animals from the jungles inland, human waste from the city and trained killers. It continued for years, until his existence was known by those who desired the freak even more, and he was kidnapped yet again - this time to the center.

Personality: Manuel is a jaded cynic and masochist with an inferiority complex. His personality is strongly anti-authority, violent, proactive and unstable. He's prone to addiction (He's a smoker and an alcoholic), very direct and confrontational. To put it in other words, he's a self-destructive and violent loose cannon.

Other: Manuel's favorite food is bananas, he can't read and he gets these nervous ticks whenever he hears AC/DC.
