Mahora Campus- Ranma's Bento Tree

"Hm... So I might need to make up a new martial arts style to deal with the place today... Martial Arts Food Fighting..." Ranma murmured under his breath, adopting a serious countenance with his hand under his chin even though such an appearance went against what ridiculous thing came out of his mouth. "Might have to break out the Parlay Du Foie Gras techniques later in the day..." Already the boy was contemplating counterplans to the situation, though since this was Ranma Saotome after all, it would no doubt be something rather out of the box and/or wacky in both aesthetics and execution. "I can eat a lot, but not enough like those French freaks and the best way to beat food is to eat it... so the best way to beat giant food animals might be to rip large chunks off of their body and then force feed them to each other..." More strange mutterings came from the pigtailed boy's direction for a few more moments before he got distracted by quite a few newcomers that seemed to be flocking around the bento tree. "Ah, yeah. This ain't my tree, nope. I'm just borrowing it for the moment so feel free to get anything you want from it." Smiling to the Japanese girl with dirty blonde hair, Ranma gave a small smile to her. That was when he was asked by a guy in armor his name after something about being mistaken for Ionanian. "Ah, I ain't no Ionian. I'm Japanese, and the name's Ranma Saotome of the Saotome Musabetsu Kakuto Ryu. (Saotome School Of Indiscriminate Grappling/Anything Goes Martial Arts). I ain't no Grandmaster like you or the old letch I know, but I am pretty darn good at the Art." Indulging in the classic Saotome trait of self bragging for a moment since it was so instinctual, the boy snapped out of it since he really didn't need to protect his pride at the moment since most everyone here seemed a lot more sane than back home. The flash and bang of a suddenly appearing pastel purple pony that was flying was enough to get the seemingly lazing boy on his feet in less time than it took to blink an eye, hands held out defensively and feet perfectly balanced on the uneven branches as his eyes regarded the strange newcomer. And the thing seemed to be eating... bacon. "..." Wondering for a moment if the bento he ate had hallucinogens thrown in, Ranma just recovered his pace as it talked about his group seeming the most sane. Really, sane and his name never held well together in the same sentence, much like oil and water. Idly, the teen thought whether the world was ending or not when he was regarded as the current poster boy for 'normal'. "Ah, yeah. It's probably a food related Challenge by that idiot in charge of the place. I ain't complaining since I love food and I love fighting, so I'll probably get to do both later on in the day." Shrugging and explaining from what little information he got from Chao. Meanwhile, the Chinese girl in question had set up what looked to be like a large radar dish of some sort atop her eating establishment with wires hooked up and connected to a table's worth of electronics and computer screens. The tech savvy girl was currently looking through the monitors, keeping an eye on the other parts of the City to see exactly what was going on and thus how to prepare her current charges for the day with suitable information and advice. From what she saw on her screen through the eyes of her hidden cameras and other such surveillance devices was that there seemed to be quite a bit of belligerent monster like beasts in certain areas. Some were food based such as lions with manes made from spongecake. Others didn't have any semblance of food and looked more like chimaeric mixes of other creatures such as giant flying sharks with bat wings or three headed tigers. Her mouth frowned as she saw a small swarm of land based creatures slowly but steadily approach Mahora and what appeared to be a seedy port town (Roanapur) from the distance and the girl continued her monitoring of the situation.
