[@Willy Vereb] That makes no sense though. The USSR was a massive failure and at this point newer generations of more westernized Russians would be in charge. Not to mention [i]everybody[/i] would immediately turn their attention to the revitalized Soviet Union, because we all know what happens when you let Russia anschluss everyone nearby.

[@Unfortunately] Kinetic bombardment? Was what I was planning. You basically say, "Hahah fuck that." to non weaponization treaties in space and equip your satellites with big heavy metal rods you can launch anywhere. A.k.a. "Rod from God" where you launch a big telephone pole sized hunk of tungsten at ridiculous speeds and it impacts with energy approaching nukes, and no radioactive fallout.

Obvs there are less doomsday versions available that are more like inescapable naval artillery, but in spaaaaaace.
