Just feel a like they missed the point. Bows and Arrows are alright as an additional weapon, not something that is your only weapon on an open world game. Hell, will hang gliders and climbing equipment be there too?

There will be clubs, spears, and possibly flint daggers as well. For all we know there could be shields. Bows are far from the only thing on the weapons list, though admittedly there will most likely be less variety than any other Far Cry so far. But I don't think the amount of weapons is what makes combat; it's how the combat works. Besides, you can craft your own weapons anyway so there's some new dynamic to make up for the lack of different types.

And hang gliders should be obvious considering the time period. As for climbing, I don't know what they'll do about that, if they even tackle the problem at all. If they did, I hope they did it right.
