With all the animals around, Elizabeth noticed the growl but simply assumed it had to be coming from one of the plethora of creatures that filled up the surroundings. The older girl nudged the other one--and the vampire was definitely going to have to find out where that girl had come from, her memory wasn't anywhere near [i]that[/i] bad--and she went off to fetch something. From the sounds of it, books about the White Night or maybe just magic in general. More likely the latter, since the ritual was never really an onmyoudo thing.

The sake offer came apparently out of nowhere but the brunette wasn't one to turn down a free drink. Nor, it had to be noted, was she particularly bothered about drunk-driving restrictions. Why pay attention to restrictions based on human physiology when your abilities were anything but.

"Sake? I wouldn't say no. It might make explaining these things easier... at least you can just read the theoretical stuff," the vampire answered, brow creasing as she decided where to start, "I suppose the important thing for now is that it's going to be starting again tonight."
