Name: Yoh Appearance: While the image signifies "Yoh's form in her own heart", when viewed by other beings, she will necessarily be seen in her "true" form, which is a shambling mass of meat. See "Eldritch". Age: Nonstandard Species: Unnamed Extradimensional Abomination Gender: "Female" Personality: A hopeless romantic meshed with a kindhearted sadist. Yoh is a "child" who views love as something eternal. It is the gem against which all else is meant to be weighed, rather than ethical or other normative notions. As other notions are transient and flawed, she thus has little objection with changing herself or that which stands around her, in the name of facilitating her goals, and can actually be frighteningly calculating when doing so. Her means of expressing love is largelythrough bringing harm, but as she does truly believe in the eternity of love, she only finds joy in causing harm if the harmed party loves receiving it; should they not, Yoh will do them the service of helping show them the light. Follows the biological imperatives of her species as a godly dogma, because she views them as guidelines for how best to bring love to others. Bio: A former human who was forcefully converted into an otherworldly being by a member of that very species. Incidentally, she lived on one of the many "Earths" that exist in possible worlds, though she has not existed in that world for quite some time. As a human, Yoh was an unremarkable individual who does not need to be narrated on. Since being changed, her mentality has altered itself accordingly, leading her to have a different heart than she did as a human. However, while her personality has changed, her knowledge as a human has not degraded, and she has retained a totality of knowledge on human culture, genetics, and the like, while forcefully acquiring the capabilities of her species. After conversion, she spent innumerable years following the imperative of her species, creating new members of her species and injecting them into alternate worlds, all while perfecting her own abilities. While she was not meant to be forced through dimensions at this point in time, events outside of her control resulted in her being dragged to Arcadia. She has since simply gone along with it. Abilities: Genetic Manipulation: The capability to alter and analyze genetics. This is an inherent talent of Yoh's species, and the crux of their nature. In the field of genetics and surgery, they can be called unparalleled. Yoh is capable of innately analyzing and permanently recording the total genetic information of any being she encounters, and her body can perform "surgeries" that alter genetics at the finest level, both for herself and others. These abilities are the byproduct of the species imperative, whereby "spores" are released onto a world in order to convert its inhabitants into members of Yoh's species. Yoh herself specializes in self-genetic modification, and prides herself on the speed of her "surgeries". Eldritch: The body is "impossible". Even to beings with incredible mental resilience, her form provokes an inherent feeling of utter wrongness. Most beings suffer slight fits of insanity merely from seeing her, while stronger or more difficult-to-disgust beings will at the very least feel innate terror and revulsion. Her mentality is similarly eldritch. Yoh's species is also rather hardy, enough to where gunshots and the like pose very little actual threat to her, though this is only really impressive compared to humans. Replication: Refers to an intellectual sense. Another talent of Yoh's species, they are capable of consuming, understanding, and replicating the culture of any species if they are provided with knowledge. They consume knowledge like a sponge, and learn at absurd speeds compared to a standard human. This suits their role as an extradimensional parasite. Universe of Origin: Saya no Uta
