I actually wouldn't mind the forced transformation events >3> One could always assume that sheer unflinching determination to say 'FUCK OFF!' to the transformation effects might protect a couple of the people from it. Orrr, the will of some metaphysical force protects them from that level of tampering [the player obviously]

But... Seriously, this RP has a villain who controls and warps this little pocket universe around us, the idea that he would just 'politely not muck about with people's species for his own amusement' actually seems even less likely than him being unable to do it XD I think excluding it entirely instead of just using our RPs already prevalent 'if the subject's player is okay with it' method, might actually detract from the RP in the long run.

Just means that there might well be challenges that some character would be disadvantaged for because of refusing it, or perhaps because 'of' the transformation... but, know what? That's just how things are to be expected when you're dealing with someone who cheats reality itself just for fun, we can't expect our characters to always have a fair game against that type of opponent.


Anyway! I got conscripted to help fix cars right after settling in to post yesterday, and i'm tired of stuff like that happening everytime I get setted to actually 'do' something! XD So i'm doing my post now, in bed, where nobody can interrupt me!
