That was me with Flux Coat, but it wasn't geokinesis. Geokinesis is a more powerful version of Flux Coat for a couple of reasons. One, geokinesis is manipulating the earth, where as Flux Coat is manipulating the viscosity of stone and other types of material. Two, flux coat works only through touch, where as geokinesis is anywhere. Three, geokinesis is the ability to also create earth (I think) whereas flux coat is useless in areas without pre-existing material within touching distance. If you wanted geokinesis, your best bet might be to go for terrakinesis
Flux Coat and Geokinesis operate on different principles but effectively achieve the same result. For the record the word Kinesis was originally Latin meaning control. The prefix on most kinesis powers is also Latin for an element, Pyro is fire, hydro is water, tele means thought or mind that sort of thing, so we have Fir-Control, Water-Control etc. Generally speaking Pyrokinesis is the only one that is actually capable of generating there element and in it's inception a pyrokinetic couldn't even do that, they needed an already existing source of flame. In later incarnations of Pyrokinetics they were able to generate a very small chemical reaction within themselves to produce sparks which they then amplified. So Geokinetics couldn't create earth, that would contradict one of the laws of physics. Oh and Geo and Terra are both words for earth which also both have a Latin root. I'll admit Geokinesis is a bit more versatile but they are such similar powers that I think it best we keep it to a limit of one.
