[@TheHangedMan] Azrael had hoped that would stun the beast for some moments, giving him time to snag the core that he'd been tracking. The thing seemed to have a mind of its own as it flowed through the serpent's fluid body. Disengaging, he'd slid several feet away even as the snake shrunk and did the same. Azrael's hesitation had given him no advantage, as once again the creature changed its element and form. Now it was a natural disaster in and of itself, pulling rock and plant life alike into its whipping depths. Yet, this was also the elementalist's chance, his keen eyes following the core with constant focus. Biding his time, he readied until the sentient funnel was nearly upon him, before leaping into action. The lightning had sizzled to a stop, Azrael further harnessing his energies. He'd been hoping to save this trick for the upcoming fight and only hoped he'd have an hour or two to recuperate to regain enough power to use it again. Jumping right at the gales of the wind, he caught sight of the stone once more, in the eye of the storm. As Azrael was lifted and flung along the outer reaches of the winds' reach, he teleported. He appeared beside the core, grabbing it in a strong and determined grip, before once again teleporting to safety twenty or more meters out of the tornado's body. With the core clutched in his hand, Azrael took a large bite out of the core's material, hoping that the substance wouldn't crack his teeth!
