As John left Yoko to his new room aboard the Alamo, the mercenary looked out one of the many windows and saw the slowly descending star that the planets of the Xenovia System orbited. Day and night cycles obviously differed from planet to planet, but if he was doing the math correctly in his head, it had been awake for about fourteen Earth hours. Yeah, sleep sounds pretty good right now. So John began the short trek to his own personal room and get some sleep. After entering the almost pitch black room that were his quarters, he immediately locked the door behind him. Apparently, he had no trouble trusting his teammates to watch his back in a firefight, but trusted them about as far as he could throw them when it came to keeping his true face from the world. Quickly throwing his gear off into the corner of the room, John fell onto his bed and quickly went to sleep. He hoped by the time he wakes up in the morning that the rest of the team would have finished voting on which mission they wanted to do.
TIME SKIP: 8 HOURS The alarm on John's datapad began to ring as soon as it reached the set time. An airborne pillow from the bed though quickly landed on top of the small device and muffled the annoying sound. The mercenary rolled over to get in a more comfortable position now that he was one pillow less than before the alarm sounded. This isn't the army. I'm allowed to have another ten minutes if I say so.
