"I've returned brother! You will pay!" "Do your worst Egbert!" Flames erupted around the hall. James Pitt raised his hands and tendrils made of blood shot out of his wrists. "You fall here!" More flame, loud noises of tendril striking ground, blood splattering on the walls. Egbert fell to the ground, his flamethrower slamming into it as well, letting out it's last light, before the propane tank exploded, fire erupting from it in a fantastic fireball. Egbert flew into a wall back first, coughing up blood and bone. He sat on the ground for a second, coughing from the smoke and from the bone lodged deeply in his heart. He stumbled to his feet, smoke and fire ravaging the once beautiful and elegant manor. Then a wave of flaming liquid flew from the inferno, transforming into a flaming aberration that once was James Pitt. Egbert couldn't even react before his saber buried itself in his chest. Egbert coughed up blood, staring into the eye sockets that once held James' eyes, traitor's eyes, bastard's eyes. James lifted Egbert by the throat, and drew the saber loose from Egbert's rib-cage, the grind of sword against blood filling the room. He let out a deafening screech, the sound of a true terror of the night, like a dying animal mixed with true, unadulterated anger. James held for one second longer, and decapitated Egbert with a stroke so fast that he couldn't even scream. Egbert's arms fell limp, James dropping him to the ground with a thump, his head rolled to James' feet. James collected Egbert's head in his hand, held it to the sky and let out the screech of a dead soul before the manor collapsed on top of him. Egbert awoke, flinging himself up into a sit. He raked his hands through what little hair he had left, his hands rejoining on his nose, he rubbed his face vigorously for a few seconds before he heard a ringing. Egbert stood up and grabbed all of his things, he looked out the window to see the other hunters coalescing at the town hall. He looked at a clock on the wall, it somehow still was running after so long of the house being abandoned, just a few minutes after he fell asleep. Egbert sighed, and then threw on his coat, strapping his things to himself, before walking out of the door to the town hall. Egbert arrived at the town hall, and immediately he felt a surge of... something upon seeing Henryk, he didn't know why. Shrugging, he decided to speak to the old lycan, something interested him about the man. He walked over to where Henryk was sitting and dropped his jacket at the lycan's feet. "That was to get your attention, I have no ambition of sleeping with you this fine night, I just wanted to ask you a few questions." Egbert said, crossing his arms, an action that was made harder by the amount of weaponry strapped to him.
