She comes off as overly friendly and invasive upon people’s personal space; she is prone to prying into another’s life and bothering them that way. However, her friendly disposition is really a faux persona she dons in order to hide her deep depression and pessimism. She has a deep control of her depressive emotions, able to choke them down in order to avoid pity and sympathy which she absolutely abhors. She is fiercely independent, to the point of self-destruction, and will never ask for help or advice, instead will work hard in order to face the solution by herself. She is not afraid to lead others, assertive when she needs to be, but she prefers to work alone. Despite her outgoing nature and willingness to socialize, she is an introvert and after a certain amount of time around people, she needs time to be by herself. 

Elliot has an artistic flare, often taking a chance to look at paintings and reading poems whenever she can. However, she finds dancing the ultimate form of art and gets a thrill when others watch her dance, feeling immortal like a piece of art. Elliot cannot stand fake people and grows weary quickly of others when they put on a fake persona, despite herself being much the same way. She enjoys the action of learning more about people which often ends up with others getting annoyed with her for snooping. It is hard to anger Elliot, but when she is angry, she is a force to reckon with and is an explosive tempest that is all-consuming.

[indent] Eun-Hee was born in Seoul, South Korea to Jae-yoon Bak and Ji-ae Kwon. She has a little sister by the name of Eunbi and an older brother named Eunji. When Eun-Hee was twelve, Eunji was fourteen, and Eunbi was six, Jae-yoon received a promotion in his line of work which required them to move to America. In a short amount of time, Eun-Hee realized that it was incredibly hard for Americans to pronounce her name, so she adopted an American name and became known as Elliot amongst her American friends. Eunji followed and named himself Jack while Eunbi chose Susannah. 

Elliot struggled in school due to her inferior understanding of the English language and her grades suffered because of it. Her parents became increasingly mad at her because of her bad grades and Elliot grew stressed. When she was eighteen, she moved away from her parents and lived with twenty year old Jack until she had enough money to live on her own. There, in order to gain money so she wouldn’t have to be dependent on Eunji, Elliot got a job as a stripper and fell in love with the job. Eventually she was able to move out on her own, though it was into a rundown apartment with drug dealers and thugs as her neighbors. She cut off all connection with her parents who were enraged at her choice of a career, but instead spent more time with her brother. 

At one point, Elliot met a twenty-six year old who she began to date. However, it became increasingly apparent that he was unstable and obsessive and Elliot sought a way to leave him, though she was scared he would do something. When she was kidnapped and placed in the mansion, it was a blessing to be away from her crazy boyfriend.[/indent]
