Biography:
Phil had an average childhood, getting into science incredibly early. He began studying physics and really interested in it during high school. After leaving to go to college he spent two years working on computing realizing that it was an important field to have base skills in before going on to do physics which usually included using some form of computer technology. Once he finished this course he moved onto grander things.

He did his under-grad major in theoretical physics with a minor in computer engineering and passed at the top of his class before moving on into the field of aeronautical engineering for his post-grad before finally returning to physics for his doctorate finishing his education at 28, largely thanks to his wealthy political parents who managed to finance his expensive education. Once he finished his education in 2000 he was recruited straight into the X-301 program where he helped design the flight controls for the X-301 and was one of the few to be re-assigned to the F-302 project once the 301 failed.

Again he spent a lot of work on the computer systems though also assisted in the construction of the inertial dampener systems due to his experience with the 301 and alien technologies, once the 302 was completed he spent most of his time overseeing production of the vessels until the Prometheus was launched where he was assigned as a shipboard technician and to ensure that the 302s stayed in prime condition with any issues a regular engineer could not fix. He was aboard the Prometheus during the battle of Tegalus and was subsequently beamed down to the planet and assisted in Carters plan to use a F-302 missile with jamming technology to disrupt communications with the satellite.

From then on he spent his time working between R&D at Area 51 and on an assortment of Tauri vessels and during the Langfords construction he was assigned to be one of the lead engineers on the case and as such was asked to stay on after its completion.

He is the lead designer on the R-302 and the new transport craft.
