She supposed that the Emperor biting it would do that, if it wasn't the usual ego trip. Certainly she had grown used to that during the Clone Wars (and fortunately Assaj had mostly grown out of it when they had met up in the Unknown Region)

"Well then, I guess he'll be disappointed," she said with confident bravado before moving onto the offensive, a few probing strikes with her longer lightsaber to test his defense, sounding out her opponent to see what he might be capable. She might be impulsive but she wasn't stupid. And long sparring sessions with Assaj had taught her many a thing, that she would now put to good use here.
