Amanda took the guy's hand and shook it; her grip was light, but not limp. Her father had always taught her the importance of a good handshake. She laughed when he said that it was just a card game, and that the fate of the world wasn't at stake. "I agree," she replied. "I've played enough games to know the difference between fantasy and reality..." She was about to tell him how she was just starting out when he suddenly recognized her. She blushed deeply. Her near-loss was something of an embarrassment to her, but she was put at ease when he said that he thought the battle was pretty tense. At least [i]someone[/i] had a good time during her duel... She gave a soft chuckle when she thought about it. In all honesty, she hadn't been paying too much attention to the duels, unless she was in them, so she felt slightly embarrassed once again as she asked, "So, how did yours go? I mean, you won, obviously..."
