Alex saw the paper come out of Valencia's pocket and as she closed her fist it started to burn. [i]Oh no. She must be mad at herself. I have to cheer her up.[/i]

Without thinking, he leaned over and gave her a hug. But it wasn't just to cheer her up. He really needed a hug right now. [i]Hopefully I didn't just make things awkward.[/i]
