I would recommend against being a 3rd party though as you kinda have to come up with your own stuff at that point as neither Sep or me to really lead you to do anything. This isn't to say you can't do it but it would require you to be rather creative with your insertion of your character into situations. 

On another note, Colonel Vale is a harsh mistress. I hope you enjoy soul crushing torture [@Kimiyosis] :P should your character be captured that is.
