Dimitri huffed and wheezed in pain as the fire wizard disappeared in an admittedly impressive theatrical manner. The threat of the wizard having gone, Dimitri stayed rooted on the ground and tried to catch his breath as best he could through the smoke. It took the hunter a few seconds - the kick to the groin had winded him a lot more than he showed- but Dimitri found the strength and presence of mind to avoid blacking out or vomiting, as well as to wave his burn free hand up and down slowly to wordlessly tell Aidon to stand down. Dimitri coughed and turned his head slightly over his shoulder to spit out a glob of saliva that was streaked with soot, a foul premonition to the ungodly amount of soot he'd be hacking up or sneezing out in the week to come. "Well that sucked ass." Dimitri croaked to Aidon through an exhausted smile as he tried to act as if everything was fine. Dimitri spat once more before he turned his attention to the witch. Dimitri stared at the young woman in puzzled silence, almost as though looking for the answer to a difficult question before he rose his weapon overhead almost as if to bring it down on her. The weapon crackled menacingly for a few moments before going completely silent as Dimitri deactivated it and collapsed it into it's concealed state and brought it to the clip on his belt. Dimitri could practically feel his ancestors rolling in their collective graves as he extended his arm to the witch for a better look, "Your help would be much appreciated. But my friend does have a point; Why would you help me? You know what I am, don't you?".
