If it has been mentioned already, then please forgive me, buuuutt--

Monster: Despite its rather intimidating episode length, it's truly one of the best anime series I've had the pleasure of watching. Like, if psychological mysteries are your cup of tea, I highly recommend it. Not a single episode within it comes out as useless. Even if some seem like filler - which I don't think that they are - it sure as hell doesn't feel like that. The plot, without giving anything away, is pretty much a really complicated game of cat and mouse. 
Seriously. Give it a watch! I promise you that, when you're done, you will not regret it. <3

Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood-
Another "one of the best Anime Adaptations" out there. It's more faithful to the source material. It also keeps the awesome humor that we all loved from the 2003/2004 series. <3 Length is pretty long, but worth it methinks. Not much else I can say haha
