Transportation is fairly available since most pokemon make great mounts. Otherwise we have some options. Town is gonna be in an area based on Letchworth state park. Parks were kept clear, but still suffered from the pollution. They were a great place to start since they were less horrible than cities.

As for world map om thinking a kind of pangead one base on our world.
