Abigail
Abigail blinked, a little surprised that strangers were on the case or more anyone other than the local police department since people go missing everyday in other places but not only that but to think her father would allow it. It is true that his hands could have been tied but it sure as hell wouldn't have made him happy and it seemed weird that he hadn't spoken of the fact. The Chief was very protective of his small town and this was the biggest cases they had seen in a long time. Could he have asked for help? It didn't seem like he had gotten to that point yet but maybe. This just made her want to talk with Nova all the more or even warn the girl about these strangers. Just because someone spoke with authority didn't mean that is actually what they were and she didn't know if Sarah had just run off or not. She looked at them suspiciously but nodded softly, "Who wouldn't know about that? That is all that is being talked about. I was even asking people their thoughts on the matter earlier today. You may ask all the questions you like but I may choose not to answer since I don't know either of you and you could be lying for all I know. It isn't really smart to be talking with too many strangers since it is unknown if this was a kidnapping yet or not, though it isn't looking good."
Nova
Nova froze for a second, not because of Quill's power necessarily but the feeling of his power against her senses. It was like that eerie feeling when you try to forget something horrible but the memory slightly creeps in or that haunting second where a nightmare feels all too real until you realize that you are safe and nothing will happen. As quick as she felt this terrifying panicked feeling, it was gone and left her pushing back her memories, convincing herself that it was all nothing. It was because of this that she hadn't even noticed Eswin moving the notebook from her hands, her gaze once more out the window and listening to the sound of the rain which was giving the perfect calming effect she needed. Nova's gaze turned back to the other next to her just as her showed her the notebook once more, a blush dusting her face once more at another picture since usually she didn't think of anyone paying much notice to her but that seemed to be different with Eswin. She smiled at his comment on drawing his surroundings which made sense on why she was in a few of them since they were bound to be in the same area more than once. Eswin's pictures were nagging at her though...why the butterflies? She didn't mind but the fact that they were graying kind of pulled at her nightmare. Why would he choose something like that? "Umm...sure, why not? Can I ask you something though? I know this might sound weird but why the butterflies in your pictures with me? I mean not really butterflies but them graying? I am just curious. I draw a bit myself and it is interesting to hear people's views on what they see or what they were thinking."
