Penny
Penny couldn't help but stare intently at Quill as she thought about what just happened. Even though she tried to mentally drop the subject, she found that she couldn't. How on Earth is Quill able to pause time? Was he bitten by some radioactive bug? What bug would be associated with time? ...A butterfly maybe? Do butterflies even bite? Penny shook her head at the absurd thought. She noticed that Quill was looking at her and she looked away so as to not appear as though she was staring at him. The words of the old man came back, and she had her hand on her chin as she recollected his words. Could he have been talking about Quill? If so, then why did it seem as though he was trying to talk to her? There was also the fact that she was unaffected by Quill's power... She looked to Quill when he spoke to her, his joviality gone. Penny could understand why he felt awkward now, but she sighed through her nose. She said to him calmly, not wanting to make him even more uncomfortable and/or chase him away, with her hand rubbing the back of her head "Wh-Whatever you are comfortable with, Quill. If you don't want to talk about it, I won't pressure you,"
Daniel
Daniel was heading to the shopping center, his thoughts still on the girl who hadn't recognized him. However, he snapped out of those thoughts when he saw some guy run towards them only to jump up a ladder and scramble his way up. After that guy was a police officer running after him and Daniel stopped to watch the police man try to grab the man's leg. The bodyguard leaned in towards Daniel and suggested "Sir. Let's go, we shouldn't be here," Daniel nodded silently in agreement and he walked away with his bodyguards. Normally, he would've stayed to watch, but the impact the girl left on him prevented him from doing so.
