Gary stands at 5 foot 10 and has a rather fit physique. His hair is dark brown and usually kept short as he usually cannot be bothered styling it. His skin is rather pale, which he blames on the 'abysmal' British weather. His eyes are blue.
Clothing Style
Gary can often be seen wearing one of two things on his upper half. Either a shirt with the sleeves rolled up, or a plain T-shirt. While his grandfather taught him to be honest and cautious through his old war tales, his father practically forced his self conscious and almost vain traits upon him. He is prone to making jokes, especially bad puns and it is more than hard to get him to stop when he's started. Despite all of this, he is actually rather depressed on the inside, but wouldn't dare let anyone else know for fear of social exclusion.
Place of Origin
Manchester, England
History
Gareth 'Gary' Gahan was born on a rainy night in Manchester. Unfortunately, his mother died just after child birth, leaving just Gary's father and his grandparents to care for him. Gary can't remember much of his early life, but can remember being pushed into joining a football team from a young age. His father, a known 'football casual' would often leave Gary with his grandparents, go out to a pub and come back drunk off his face. Of course, for much of Gary's younger life this wasn't much of a problem as he could just stay with his grandparents, but as he got older he began to take notice of his father's behaviour. This began to take an effect on his school work and general behaviour everywhere. He began rebelling against whoever would try and help him. This was a very dark period in his life. All of this changed when his father became a violent drunk though. After being abused for about a week, he was lucky enough to have the bruises reported to social services by one of his teachers. He was subsequently sent to live with his grandparents, with a restriction of when his father could see him. Gary's grandfather, a former soldier and drill sergeant, whipped Gary into shape faster than a lightning bolt. He was no longer a rebellious lad, going down the same path as his father and had transformed into a well behaved, polite young man. Unfortunately, things changed near the end of his school career when his grandmother died and his grandfather developed dementia. He could no longer live or care for his grandfather for much longer and decided to make a major change in his life. He moved to America under the care of his aunt and uncle, who were more than happy to take Gary in, with the requirement that he get a job. This is his first year attending camp Liberty, under the demand of his uncle.
Extra
The rain #AuldReekieproblems amiright?
Theme Song
The Smiths - There Is A Light That Never Goes Out [sub]”Take me out tonight Where there's music and there's people Who are young and alive Driving in your car I never never want to go home Because I haven't got one anymore”[/sub]
