[@Savato][@Absolis] [Overseer UFO, Unknown Universe, Apocalypse] As the Ethereal approached the containment area of the mysterious creature, it was informed of the rather remarkable development that had been observed within the creature. It's body had seemingly analyzed the power of the Ethereals, and restructured it's nervous system. This new and restructured system caused the psionic energy applied to it to be subdivided over several 'levels' and massively spread out. Furthermore, certain levels of the 'brain' could be shut off at will, as another part of the brain rapidly took on the functions of the removed area. This meant that it would cost almot 100x more effort to affect Apocalypse with psionic abilities, making most of them nearly useless against him. Furthermore he was able to shut down parts of his nervous system and 'rebuild' them on the spot, in order to counter any attempt at mind control. It was clear that it would be nigh impossible to defeat the being again using a similar method. Perhaps more worrying was the fact that it's outer body had developed a specialized layer of ceramic-like material, a coating that was highly resistant to heat and worked with a controlled vacuum to vastly reduce the amount of damage dealt by heat-based attacks. This effect seemed to be increased by the fact that the experimentation team had been using lasers to cut the creature open. It appeared that the more damage it's body was dealt, the more resistant it would become to the source of the damage. Even after 'death' it continued to become more dangerous, and subduing the creature a second time would be troublesome at best. Lastly, it had been discovered that almost any material that existed within the Bestial One's body was designed to kill. It was impossible to derive any form of nutrition from it, and indeed it didn't seem to require nutrition of any kind. Instead it seemed to somehow be able to draw energy from the quantum spectrum on a cellular level, a phenomenon that outdid even the Ethereal's methods of energy generation as it provided a potentially limitless supply of energy seemingly from nowhere. In fact the aliens had come to the conclusion that the mere presence of this creature in this universe was slightly counteracting entropy, creating higher-order energy. As such they had been forced to place a long-term nutritional substitute within the capsule, which would sustain the larva for about a year. Of course, each of these facts was alarming in and of themselves. But it was made considerably worse by the fact that Apocalypse's neural network seemed to be activating once more, as the higher brain functions became enabled. This was a last reboot, a simply check if all vital systems were in place, and it was clear the creature would awaken. The ethereal would now have a chance to move Apocalypse to a greater containment area, place it in stasis, or attempt to convince it not to attack. Whatever approach it would take, it had about a minute to do it before Apocalypse would be fully resurrected.
