Über Ethereal
Bern, Switzerland [@Absolis][@GreenGoat][@Hamstrong]
With the two clowns prepped for warp, Cyano had mistakenly concentrated the teleportation toward where signs of life were the biggest, and yet a massive war had broken out, essentially bringing them to the slaughterhouse. Luckily, the Ethereal wielded access to the coordinates since in the end, the Terminal was what brought them to Arcadia. They would simply warp back to Bern, right where they left off and to the surprise of the newfound couple, Sam and Mokou. Actually the tall alien would be only a few centimeters away from the individuals, allowing it to set a gray, thin hand on each of their shoulders. With its presence, they could feel the eerie presence of its psychic powers, as if they were infiltrating their minds already and choking them with the intensity of its now active distortion field. But it didn't act hostile, quite the contrary it was pleased that they were not running around. But as it touched them, a large, white circle with various scriptures and markings within it formed in a 50 meter radius with the Ethereal as the center point. Before they could actually make out why the heck the alien was even back here, a flash of light would blind everyone within the circle for a second, including the Conablum siblings. When their vision cleared, they'd first notice the fact that they were on a flat but completely transparent surface. Under them would be the ocean a hundred meters down. It would actually feel as if they were walking on the sky, but upon further inspection, it would seem more like a glass dome or sphere that allowed a perfect 360° view. Various holographic screens floated in mid air as they displayed the current events unfolding near the Imperial Palace. There was one dedicated to Apocalypse and his current whereabouts. "Samuel Rodriguez. Fujiwara no Mokou. One swore allegiance while the other remains a mystery. And yet they have identical goals. It is surprising that Basterbine has not solicited you yet, Mokou. Returning to your universes, a common goal but aligns so well with our creed. We can find your original universe, quite quickly in fact. However." The images displayed on the holograms focused more on the details of the slaughter and many ridiculously powerful units taking down monstrosities from the other side. Alone, some of these monsters could lay waste to an unprepared world and wreck havoc. It was questionable whether the people in this very ship could handle these types of footsoldiers, let alone protect themselves against wave after wave. "Upon returning to your worlds, they will eventually find traces and discover that universe. Would it be preferable to let an over-zealous crusade of self-righteousness submit every universe it crosses to arbitrary views on morality, or allow blinded tyrants to release their wrath on unsuspecting realms? This Multiverse is poisoned by ideals that will one day reveal an even stronger force that will consume all. The Envisioning One is displeased by any form of large scale interference with other universes. Perhaps it would be in your interest to prevent such ... Barbarians from spoiling your worlds?" The Ethereal played with what they had said previously. They were people, or at least were close to being, and were attached to the idea of returning to the world they cherished as their home. Sam would be a man driven by emotion and his gut, a man that wouldn't let such abominations lay waste to his world just because they could find it with ease. Mokou was more recent, but nothing indicated the contrary, she also wanted to return home. However what she could do was another story. If she'd end up useless, which would be doubtful given not only the particularly strange aura she released, but most scans had problems detecting a clear pattern in her biology. Like someone kept her alive much longer than she should have. Plus she was an 'anomaly' after all. "We have no time to waste. Conablum, the satellite scans have detected multiple anomalies. Some of which can be of interest. The stealth drones have most likely captured images of them by now. Before we depart to gather ... Specimens, you are tasked to prioritize two targets, one of which you will scout yourself." The alien then turned to face Mokou, the girl who would most likely be confused by all this. The fact that it didn't attack despite having the resources and staff to take her on easily would probably ease the tension. There are far worse beings out there to encounter, and so far the Ethereals, or by extension the Dark Outliners, were by far the most rational of individuals around here. "Fujiwara no Mokou. Whether you follow us or not has little relevance. However if you desire to return to your universe, your assistance would be deeply appreciated and would ... Accelerate the process."
