Raymond's mind was in overdrive. His fingers were pressing buttons, switching levers, and calculating the position of the enemy ships. As this was happening the crew started to take their positions. He read everyone's file in detail, to get to know them... And when you are in charge of some of the Committee's deadliest criminals you have to know exactly what you're up against. The people who have been here the longest could tell you about how tense the starting crew was; always second guessing Raymond and his ability to lead them. He would host fights in the lower cargo bay. He would win every single fight against every single alien. People soon didn't challenge Raymond Chase. Meghan Jackson manned the second assault station. She had the good looks of a goddess, and the skills of a killer. She knew how to take orders, and executed them with precision. Tymea gave the comment of them being the enemy of science, and he gave a short laugh. "They are more than enemies of just science, Miss L'Cint, but they'll definitely won't be around long..." Raymond said, about to confirm his firing coordinates. Addy, the ship's navigator started to give Raymond the time for their warp drive departure. Of course if they couldn't fight off these mole rats they would have to jump to escape, but he was tired of these bastards chasing them! Like Raymond, Addy was a sole survivor of a military mission gone wrong, and she knew that she didn't plan on losing anyone to these lame rat creatures! There was also the fact that Shasoon just blasted himself out of the airlock and towards the enemy ship. Raymond gave a rather frustrated sigh. The two have been talking about this plan ever since the first ambush, but they never confirmed and thought the plan out fully. But now Raymond had to compromise even more than what he has been doing. "Copy that, Addy. Keep the timer going, but keep on standby until I give the orders. Meghan, hold fire until we hear from Shasoon again." He stated, keeping his turret locked on one of the enemy ships. They were too far away to start firing, but they were definitely coming their way. Elyse's voice came to Raymond from below. He glanced down then back at the ships. She was the newest member of the Marauders, but also a genius, and had a gift. "Emiel, once we get close enough I need you to scan the ships, especially their guns. You gotta let us know which ship is firing up its assault systems! You can do that, right?" He called out. He wasn't sure how her eyesight worked, but he did know that if things got hot, they radiated infrared energy. Rae's voice was the next thing he heard in the matter of seconds. Doctor Luirae Driani was his most trusted companion on the ship. She wasn't a bounty hunter, or a shunned member of their race, or a killer. She was a scientist who volunteered and trusted Raymond completely with her life. "That's some good news, Doctor. Keep that in mind, Marauders. Poison is still a very important matter of business. Do NOT let them onboard this ship!" Shasoon's voice came back into his mind yet again. Most people would be creeped out or traumatized by this experience, but Raymond has seen worse, and this wasn't the first experience he's had with the team's negotiator. They have crossed paths only once before, and when he found out that the Ju'Yaval would be a member of his roster years ago, he accepted him and his abilities. So far they have proven to save Ray and the team's lives multiple times.. He had taken out the back ships, and then his statement was cut short. Raymond waited for a response, and right before he was going to ask if he was alright, his voice came back. His comment didn't sound assuring. "Copy that, Shasoon... But you know that's not an option." He stated. "Meghan focus on the front ships, They're still coming from starboard. Elyse, try and help the gunners out with your vision. Tahillie informed Raymond their best place to jump to, and he looked at her and nodded. "Good work, Tahillie. Take position next to Tango and Addy and help them, and Addy keep that timer coming." Raymond walked towards an airlock station. "Tymea, I need you to do a quick scan of the ship and see if they tagged us at some point. If we jump and we still have that it will be round four with these guys, and Doctor, stay close by with your antidote. I feel like Shasoon isn't telling us something..." He climbed into airlock door where the ship issued spacesuits were held. All of them were personalized for each person, and Raymond pulled his out. On the spacesuits right bicep was the American Flag. The chestplate was a steel blue, with a giant scratch across it from his adventures. Over his heart was a blood red "M", the Marauder's unofficial logo. On the left bicep were three icons. One was a classic spaceship sailing through stars, the icon placed on the very first Earth-born space explorers. The second was an icon of a human made assault rifle, the sign of the Galactic Committee's human assault division of the Military... And the last one was a picture of a Colorado state flag. The state he was born in. He climbed into the suit, sealing himself in. The suit was lightweight, and much skinnier than the very first human made spacesuits, and more durable and made for defense. "Shasoon, if you have been bitten, I am in standby in the airlock, ready to go in after you. Just say the word and you have backup... And don't say everything's fine and do something stupid. that's my job." Ray added quickly.
