Elaine caught Bernards' look her way as she began to strap in and seal up her FRAME. She flashed a grin to the older man and returned his nod as she closed her own hatches. The glow of displays and readouts embraced her in a comforting haze and the web of straps and belts held her like a familiar lover as the hum of her machines' heart coming to life trembled through her body. Status lights flicked to green and active as umbilicals disconnected and retracted and the FRAME took its' own weight. Voices burbled through the headset of her helmet as the rest of the unit checked in; she was among the last, calibrations to her FRAME having taken a little bit longer. "Sorry to keep you all waiting," she added with a tone that held a hint of humor. "This is Morgan reporting. Raven's ready to go too."
