Illiendi watched the boy as he went about choosing his flower, clearly there was some methodology to his choosing that Illiendi couldn't quite grasp. Eventually the pair were leaving with a potted plant, it seemed an unwise choice to the demon, it was dirty, messy, hard to keep and would need constant attention to survive. While cut flowers showcased the beauty and frailty of life and could be disposed of within a week. Despite his own views he said nothing about it out loud and continued his quiet observations. Without asking a thing Amano answered the unasked questions, although stuttering and fumbling over words as he did so. It did not surprise him his father often tried to cover his misdeeds with the gift of flowers, such a blunt and simple man would go to such blunt and simple methods. The thought behind the gift made sense, it would grow and thrive, as long as it was tended, pacifying the upset Chesia. Pink tulips were to be bought later on as further proof. While the ideas and knowledge made sense to Paimon, the feelings and emotions that Amano seemed to experience were somewhat lost on him. Oh silly demon, until you love something you'll never understand what it is to feel anything. The sing song females voice was interrupted as Amano fixes his eyes on him and then the flower fixed to his jacket. The compliment was lost on him but he glanced to the flower, it's mortality would not be an issue, if it made Amano happy it could and would live, in a sense. Once Amano was back on the road the demon's fingers curled about one of the flowers bell shaped heads and a small black mist escaped his fingertips and was leaked into the bloom. The slightly wilted flower perked up, briefly pulsing black before returning to normal. A few minutes wouldn't hurt, he hoped. The travel back to the house was simple and quick, soon they were ascending the stairs to the front door and Illiendi stepped in front of Amano to open it for him. Once inside he let his eyes fall briefly shut, ten seconds passed in still silence and when his eyes opened he spoke to Amano, "Your mother is in the drawing room if you wish to see her now. Or shall we continue our preparations first? Your eldest brother and his wife are here in their room, your father and other brothers are out."
