Amethyst

Who did that guy think he was anyway? Those comments he made were totally out of line and he deserved what came to him. Amethyst continued to give herself a pep talk, reassuring herself that what she did was the correct course of action. It was pure self-defense even though the boy hadn't attacked her physically at all. But words like that to a woman should no go unpunished and if it made her look bad, then so be it. She was used to looking like the bad guy ever since she got to this school. Even if she didn't have a pretentious attitude, people would have judged her anyway because of who her mother was. People had a bad habit of not getting to know someone before they judge them. So Amethyst had to immediately put up a wall and push people away to hide from her own insecurities. She would rather people hate her than think she was weak. But as of lately, she was tired of always being rude. This isn't what she wanted to be for the rest of her life. Amethyst was walking at a brisk pace to get to her class on time when she heard someone shouting at her from behind. She didn't really listen as it was probably a friend of that jerk. Although she did hear the word 'bitch' and immediately started to get angry. She tried to walk faster to prevent herself from hurting someone else when the guy shot in front of her and blocked her path, folding his arms. "If I wasn't there to clean up your mess, that boy could've been very badly burned." Amethyst stopped immediately to prevent herself from bumping into the pipsqueak which wasn't an entirely bad idea. Of course it had to be Richard, another goody two-shoes Homo Magi who insisted on spouting boring lectures about the purity of magic and how one should use it. To be honest, she wished she could just sew his mouth shut because she had to time to listen to another lecture. "I don't want to hear it. He called me a bitch and made an unwarranted sexual comment at me so the asshole got what he deserved. But of course you men always stick together instead of hearing the whole story," she said coldly. Just as the young witch was tearing into the boy, none other than her kin Rick came to her rescue. They weren't exactly happy family but were on okay terms. Technically they weren't even biologically related, but more so play-siblings because of his relationship with the other Flash's. "Hey, do you mind backing off? That's my niece you're talking to. If she's in the wrong, let me know, and I'll deal with it." It actually took Amethyst by surprise that Rick was defending her. They normally stayed out of each other's paths. To be honest, it was actually kind of heart warming. She was even more shocked at the fact he wasn't afraid to admit he was related to her. Not that it was much of a secret. There was a time where people didn't know that the famous Wally West had a daughter he never spoke of. Once it came out, it was a very controversial topic throughout the super hero community. There were probably students who knew who her father is because their parents had big mouths. But at this point, she didn't care. "Thanks. But I can fend for myself," she said to Rick with a more civil tone, much different than how she spoke to Richard whom now she turned her gaze back onto. She outstretched her arm and shoved him out of her way. "Move out of my way loser before I drop a house on you," she said slyly.
