It was his designs I was thinking of exactly! What I'm planning is kind of small bursts of superheating beams of tungsten, no longer than half a second, fitting with the rifle idea, and then some big ass tesla coil defence turrets to fire lightning. 

If that tech is okay, then I can't wait!
