I would love to join in this! Especially as a co-GM! (inb4: don't bother with my postcount, I'm new here but NOT new to writing) Although, I'm not 100% sure you and I would be on the same track, so I wanna ask a few questions: I love mysteries and fiction but the stories often end up getting tied around a single, centralized player and then die. Or they'll be too sandboxy. How do you plan on preventing that? Magic? Guns? Magic guns? Neither and solely driven on character development? Mysteries; Killer? Monster maker? Antagonist ideas other than a plot? In short; plot ideas? I love worldbuilding and I'm fantastic at it if I do say so myself. <3!
So what I'm thinking is not too distant future guns, but a very derelict cyberpunk world based on maybe a seedy L.A./Chicago atmosphere with some japanese influence for good measure. The GM would be some sort of Contractor who works at the bar, and rounds up a group of skilled individuals to do jobs which will range from vigilante good, to morally questionable. And all these 'missions' will be based around some sort of major murder or robbery. I'd love to bounce some ideas off in building the city with you. There wont be any magic but I'm open to having 'unexplained occurrences' no monsters, but the occasional mutant freak will be okay. And obviously the world will have a kickass soundtrack and even more kickass clothing :)
