Bishop was barely able to keep his laughter in during the entire time Karen was speaking. She clearly wasn't used to receiving and giving complements. As if her repeatedly calling Hayes  Haley wasn't enough to make him laugh, calling the boy pretty certainly did. He moved his freehand up to his mouth, hiding his smile, but his eyes betrayed him, which were no longer filled with hate but instead full of amusement. Once Bishop had manged his laughter, he moved his hand away from his grinning mouth. 

"You aren't very used to this kind of thing, are you Karen?"
