[@Archmage MC] Shaymalan was respectable or even excellent if you were a fan of his pervious works. 

Then he sunk. Hard. It accumulated extremely fast when Signs came out. It seems a bit unfair to say he's worst than Bay, since unlike the explosion loving dude, he actually was viewed as a film making genius by many. 

There's no forgiving The Last Airbender though. Never forget.
